PURPOSE:To promote the work efficiency of a captioned device by providing a folded-object supply line with a hem-detecting sensor and a transfer-body controlling counter for folding a folded object correctly at the central part of a hem even if there is an error in the hem interval of the folded object. CONSTITUTION:A transfer route in a supply unit 1 is provided with a hem- detecting sensor 3 and a transfer-body controlling counter 4 operated by the sensor 3 for controlling the moved amount of a transfer body after the detection of a hem. A transfer mechanism unit 5 is constructed of a drive motor 6, sprockets 7 and 7', a transfer chain 8, pinch rollers 9 and 9', folding-part-pushing holders 14 and 15, cams 16 and 16', and others, while a support table 11 is provided under the transfer mechanism unit 5. When the hem of a folded object is detected by the sensor 3 during the doubling of the transfer body 10, a controlling counter 4 is operated to control the rotation of the motor 6, and controls the moved amount of the transfer body 10. Consequently, the folded object can be correctly and successively folded at the central part of the hem for promoting the work efficiency, even if there is some error in the interval of hems. |
