PURPOSE:To enable a safety lid to be automatically opened when the contained cargoes are discharged by providing on the safety lid provided on a cargo box an operating device which is operated by vertical movement of the cargo box to open and close the safety lid. CONSTITUTION:A cargo box 3 is provided with a safety lid 10 for opening and closing a vent hole 9, and the safety lid 10 is provided with an operating device 13 for opening and closing the safety lid 10. In transportation, the operating device 13 is regulated to be in the position shown by the solid line by a regulating member 22 provided on a car body 2 and pushes down a rod 19 against a spring 20 through a roller 21 to thereby closed the lid 10. When the cargo box 3 is slanted to discharge the cargo(es), the roller 21 is located as shown by the chain line so that the lid 10 is automatically opened by the spring 20 and air is introduced through the vent hole 9 to prevent generation of negative pressure due to the discharge of the cargoes. Thus, the cargo box 3 is not dented. |
