PURPOSE:To enable plural users to use one card by providing a card with utilization restricting information, pass word and a control means and providing the service side with a control means for restricting a service range. CONSTITUTION:The memory card 10 is provided with pass words 11, 13, 15 of an owner and other users, utilization restricting information 12, 14, 16 corresponding to respective pass words and a control program 17 for controlling the pass words and the information. A card processing machine 20 on the service providing side has a control program 21 executing service only within the restriction based upon the utilization restricting information corresponding to card users. Since the card side connects the restricting information usable by a pass word with its user and the utilization restricting information informs respective using ranges to the service side, the service side checks the validity of the pass word and restricts the utilization, so that the card can be used in common and can be prevented from invalid use. |
