PURPOSE:To generate an alarm when the count value of the number of picture elements exceeds a prescribed value and automate the titled monitoring system by comparing a picture in current receiving with the picture received just before said picture and stored in a picture memory while corresponding their picture elements, and counting the number of picture elements when the difference of the gradation of the picture elements exceeds the threshold. CONSTITUTION:A TV camera 1 photographes the status of an object to be monitored, the photographed pictures are sampled at a fixed inteval and static pictures are transmitted from a transmitter 2 to a transmission line 3. The picture information is received by a receiver 5, converted once into a digital signal and stored in a picture memory 7 in an automatic monitoring device 5. Simultaneously, the picture information received just before said picture information and stored in the memory 7 is inputted to an adder 6 to find the difference between the read picture information and that in receiving while corresponding their picture elements, and when the difference exceeds a threshold level input 13 of a comparator 8, a counter 11 counts up the count value. When the count value of the counter 11 exceeds a maximum count value setting input 14, an alarm circuit 12 generates an alarm output 15 and a monitor TV displays the alarm, simplifying the automation of monitoring. |
