PURPOSE:To increase system efficiency of a drying hot air generator as a whole unit, by utilizing waste heat of an internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:A burner 6, for feeding hot air to a drying room 4, is supplied with fuel from a pipe 7, and its primary air is heated by cooling water of an internal combustion engine 3 in a preheater 11, increased in the pressure by a compressor 10 driven by a turbine 9 using exhaust gas 5 of the internal combustion engine 3, is fed from a nozzle 21 through a pipe 8, further its secondary air is fed from multi-holes 19 in a combustion cylinder 17. A casing 13 is provided in the periphery of the combustion cylinder 17, and combustion gas is jetted from an opening 15, then exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine 3 in the pipe 5 is sucked by said jetted combustion gas, mixed as hot air 14 and fed to the drying room 4. A belt conveyer 2 in the drying room 4 is driven by the internal combustion engine 3. In this way, waste heat of an internal combustion engine can be effectively utilized to improve system efficiency of a device as a whole unit. |
