PURPOSE:To improve the effect of a travel guiding equipment for vehicles by a method wherein a locus of a travelling course is memorized when a vehicle travels from one point to another and the memorized locus is indicated when the vehicle travels the same course in the opposite direction. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle travels from a starting point to a destination after a memory admission switch 20 is closed. The marks which indicate respective points according to the set data of the starting point and the destination given by a setting device 11 are indicated by an indicator 16 and at the same time a travelling locus from the starting point to the present point calculated by a computer 14 using output data from a vehicle speed sensor 12 and a vehicle direction sensor 13 is also indicated. The calculated data of the present point which changes every moment are successively stored by a memory device 17. When the vehicle travels back from the destination to the starting point, by closing a read-out switch 21, the data of the travelling locus stored in the memory device 17 are read out and indicated by the indicator 16, so that the vehicle is guided to travel on the same course correctly and the guiding effect is improved. |
