PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the amount of axle slip by providing a link mechanism of angular crank shape that consists of a pair of foot pedals that can move freely to right or left and a plurality of rods that come between those pedals or other mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The pedals 22a and 22b of a side slip measurement device are freely movable to right and left on a base frame 21 by means of rollers 23a and 23b, and both pedals are connected between them with a link mechanism comprising links 24-28. The link 26 is freely rotatable round the fulcrum 30 at its center, and the link 27 is freely rotatable round the fulcrum 31 at its center and also freely slidable to right and left. By this arrangement, not only the amount of side slip but also the amount of slip of the axle can be easily and accurately measured. |
