<p>PURPOSE:To give a sense of security to an operator, keep the state of IPL always normal, and discriminate occurrence of abnormal state easily by expressing the state of storage of data dynamically when indicating the state of initial program load IPL. CONSTITUTION:Different numerical values for a specified number of bites of a program stored in a memory 16 are displayed on a numerical value display section 2 of a POS(Point of sales) terminal 1. Time items, register number items etc. are displayed on each of light emission diodes 4 to make clear the progress of IPL. When the program is loaded to the memory 16, the state of storage of the program is detected by a counter 19, a decoder 20 by control of an IPL control section 15, and selection is made by a changeover switch 7 as to whether signals from a transaction control section 13 is displayed or the state of progress of IPL is displayed. Selection is made further as to whether signals from the control section 13 are displayed or the state of progress of IPL from the decoder 20 is displayed by a changeover switch 9. They are displayed on the diodes and the state of storage of data is displayed dynamically.</p> |
