The cover is particularly suitable for folding doors of the type having a set of wooden panels, the dimensions of which correspond exactly to the surface to be covered. Each panel has vertical risers spaced from each other and extending over the whole of the height of the opening to be covered, while traverses connect the risers. Secondary panels are mounted between risers and traverses. Vertical rods are arranged on the sides of the risers over their entire length with the rod and riser backs being slightly inclined to each other. Positioning hooks are fixed along the upper edges of the panels to fix them onto the door being covered.
