PURPOSE:To produce ultrasonic wave oscillators in which the size toward the direction causing piezoelectric expansion and compression is very small, with high accuracy and efficiency, by laminating the piezoelectric high polymer films and spacers and cutting them toward the direction of lamination thickness. CONSTITUTION:At the location close to the upper side ridges 2 of the high polymer films 1 having the piezoelectricity entirely or locally polarized, electrodes 3 and 3' almost parallel and narrow with the side ridge 2 are provided at the front and back sides, and the piezoelectricity is provided to a narrow linear part with the electrodes 3 and 3' at least. When a high frequency pulse electric field of a suitable wave length is applied between the electrodes 3 and 3', narrow parts 4 of the films 1 is oscillated with expansion and compression toward broadwise direction. A lot of the films 1 having the piezoelectric operating parts 4 are laminated via spacers 5 and cut along a cutting line 9 as shown in dotted line, allowing to achieve array type oscillators 6. |
