PURPOSE:To attain the titled system capable of preventing errors in instructed positions or lack of instructions and permitting simple and rapid correcting operation by a method wherein a galley proof is photographed by a TV camera and then corrected using a CRT display. CONSTITUTION:A galley proof 10 is photographed by a TV camera 11 and displayed on a CRT display 13 via a converter 12. Then, corrected positions are instructed by a light pen 14 and the correction contents are commanded from a key board 15, so that correction is run through a CPU16. Both displayed correction contents and corrected positions are stored in a floppy disc 17 and then fed to a printing system. The CPU16 controls an image on the CRT display 13 and, at the same time, is connected to the light pen 14 so that lines and columns on the galley proof 10 are determined based on the regularity of images which are obtained by scanning the galley proof 10 vertically and horizontally, and then the corrected positions are automatically detected by determining a position of each character based on the size of the character and a length of column. |
