PURPOSE:To prevent a detrimental error of a system in advance, by performing the stop or re-execution of a device with an error signal, if a failure takes place in the sequence of a microprogram due to the hardware error. CONSTITUTION:According to the state of an FF13 being significant when a branch instruction is executed and the branching is established, the numbering data and the content of a counter 12 sequentially assigned from the head of a microprogram at a sequence check data register 11 are compared in a section 14. As a result, when the FF13 is significant, it is discriminated that the microprogram sequence has a failure. The result of comparison is applied to other input terminals of an AND gate 20, and the output of the gate 20 outputs an error signal to an operation control circuit. |
