A lower body part (1) having a body floor (2) is connected in articulated fashion to an adjoining lower body part (1a) with a body floor (2a). An access passage (7) corresponds to the passage inside the body which is left free between two laterally arranged group seats. To the side of the access passages (7) there is in each case a space (9, 10), as a part of the articulation link, for connections. These two spaces (9, 10) serve for receiving air lines, high-voltage cables and control current cables, i.e. of connections which, in train configurations, lead from one carriage to another. The spaces (9, 10) exclusively occupy previously unutilised space between the terminating walls of the bodies of coupled carriages, these spaces (9, 10) extending from the floor region of the carriages, not to the roof region, but rather having a height of approximately one metre. With this jointed vehicle arrangement, no carriage space is taken up under the floor of the carriage or in the roof area for transmission elements such as cables, hoses, Bowden cables, articulated shafts and the like between the railway carriages. <IMAGE> |
