PURPOSE:To make it difficult for a fingerprint to stick on a stainless steel sheet without changing the external appearance thereof by forming an oxide film of Al or the like on the stainless steel sheet and thereafter applying fluoroalkylsilane thereon. CONSTITUTION:A metallic oxide film contg. many hydroxyl groups is previously formed on the surface of a stainless steel sheet. The formation of this film is performed by applying an alcohol soln. contg. >=0.005wt% of one or more kinds of alkoxide or acetylacetonate metallic salt of Al, Zr, Ti and Si and heating it at >=100 deg.C. Then fluoroalkylsilane is applied on this metallic oxide film, dried and thereafter heated to subject both hydroxyl groups of the metallic oxide film and fluoroalkylsilane to metallo-siloxane bond and to resinify same. |
