PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution as whole of a process controller by enabling to execute the simulation of a sequencer through the use of the constitution actually adopted for a process control of a plant. CONSTITUTION:The input of simulation data required for simulation is stored in a memory area for sequencer of a main memory 15 via a CPU14, by using an input and output device 17 of an upper-order computer. When a sequencer outputs the input instruction of a simulation data to a peripheral bus 4, a direct memory access (DMA) interface section 10 interpretes the address of this bus 4, and starts a DMA channel 12 to output the content corresponding to the memory 15 to the bus 4. The result of operation of the sequencer is given to the bus 4 and written in the memory area for sequencer of the memory 15. The content of storage of the memory 15 is read to the device 17 via the CPU14 for display. |
