PURPOSE:To fix a slot location of respective boards and to make an extension work easy, by arranging a vacant slot between boards in a bus connection using a daisy chain. CONSTITUTION:A back panel is constituted so that an interruption reception signal TACK to the next stage can be propagated, e.g., ahead six boards and further. That is, the signal is received at a board ahead one board as RACKA, and ahead two boards as RACKB, -, ahead six boards as RACKF respectively, allowing to propagate an interruption request signal RACK without interruption even if consecutive 5 boards' share is vacant between slots. On the other hand, at the reception side, an AND gate 11 ANDs all the signals of the RACKA- RACKF, allowing to receive the signals without notifying the number of slots. Thus, the slot location of the respective boards can be fixed, and in case of extension, loading to the designated slot can only be made. |
