1510036 Sliding clasp fasteners H Y LEE 29 Sept 1976 40490/76 Heading E2S A sliding clasp fastener for closing two adjacent openings in a container consists of first and second stringers 1, 1' bearing separate teeth 2 which may be interlocked with teeth 4 on a third stringer 3 mounted on a partition between the openings by means of a single slider 5 for simultaneous interlocking, or by means of separate sliders 14, 14' for selective interlocking. The teeth 4 have dual heads 4' and interlock with teeth 2 in a T-formation, and slider 5 has passages 7, 7', 8 to receive the three stringers. For use with two sliders, 14, 14', teeth 4 are modified to include an upper track portion 12, and a lower support portion 13 on each side to receive the sliders which are shaped as in Fig. 8 to engage these portions. |
