The spinal therapy frame supports the user's back and aligns the vertebrae correctly. It comprises an inclined base (1) on which the user kneels set at an angle of between 20 and 30 degrees to the horizontal. A pair of uprights (4) flank the base and have a series of holes formed along their length. A pair of oblique supports (5) are mounted at a required level on the uprights and between these supports extend a set of straps (9). These include a lumba-sacral strap, a femoral strap, and a cervical support strap. The lengths of these straps and their relative positions correspond to the correct curvature of the spine and support the various parts of the spine.
|
