PURPOSE:To contact along a welding part with a probe to detect welding defects without omission, by moving four probes in the circumferential direction of a tube while bringing them far from and near to the surface of the tube and inclining symmetrically them to the welding part. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 22 is arranged in a pole brace 2 facing to a stand 1 to move vertically the pole brace 2. A saddle part 3, a supporting frame 4, an inclining board 5 are arranged in the lower end of the pole brace 2, and supporting frames 6f and 6r and four supporting arms 7 are used to arrange four probes PB1-PB4 under the inclining board 5. The supporting frame 4 is moved in a direction orthogonal to a tube P by a cylinder 35 fixed to a supporting board 41 of the supporting frame 4. Next, a shaft 44 is inserted through the inclining board 5 and is turned in a direction parallel with the tube P by a cylinder 45. Probes PB1 and PB4 of the supporting frame 6r are moved far from and near to probes PB2 and PB3 of the supporting frame 6f simultaneously while keeping them parallel with each other. |
