PURPOSE:To obtain a compact optical system of a light wave range finder, by using a split prism having a reflection surface and a refractive system in one body, and enabling light emission and photodetection to execute through only one objective lens. CONSTITUTION:An optical system of a light wave range finder is provided with an objective lens 1, a photodetector 2 in the photodetecting system, a light emitting element 3 in the light emitting system, and a split prism 4. The split prism is, for instance, a prism whose section is hexagonal, and an incident light beam comes in through the objective lens 1, is reflected by the surface of the split prism 4, reaches the photodetector 2, and on the other hand, a light beam from the light emitting element 3 comes into an split prism 4, is reflected, and after that, passes through the objective lens 1 and goes out of the system. |
