<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently recover zinc dust generated in a zinc plating process while preventing the consumption of zinc due to oxidation by blowing the dust into molten zinc together with a preheated inert gas and by agitating and molting the dust. CONSTITUTION:Molten zinc 21 charged 5 into a zinc melting vessel 2 is kept in the molten state with a heating burner 1. Zinc dust 12 is shifted to a feed hopper 18, and while introducing 11 an inert gas into a heat exchanger 7, zinc dust fed from the hopper 18 is mixed with the inert gas by means of a mixer 14 and blown into the molten zinc 21 through a feed lance 6. The dust is melted in the bath, and the partially unmelted dust is introduced into the exchanger 7 together with the heat expanded inert gas. The inert gas used in heat exchange is mixed with zinc dust by means of the mixer 14, and the waste inert gas is fed to a cyclone dust collector 9 to separate and remove the unmelted zinc dust.</p> |
