The invention relates to a polariser for circular-polarised H11 waves, in the case of which electromagnetic energy is split into equal parts in a first divider and, furthermore, each part passes through a 3dB directional coupler in such a manner that a total of four components are produced and these four components are combined in the correct phase in a waveguide. The object of the invention is to design such polarisers such that their production is simplified as far as possible. This object is achieved according to the invention by equal coaxial transitions (4, 5) from an input waveguide (1) opening into waveguides (6, 8) having a curved cross-section, by these waveguides (6, 8) being supplemented by further waveguides (7, 9), likewise having a curved cross-section, to form a complete circular shape and, in the further course, opposite narrow sides (11, 13) of the waveguides having a curved cross-section containing coupling openings (11', 13') in order to form the 3dB couplers, and, subsequently, by mutually identical capacitive probes (16, 17, 18, 19) opening from the four waveguides (6, 7, 8, 9) having a cross-section into an output waveguide (3). <IMAGE>
