PURPOSE:To make the surface metal stuck dense and uniform by providing a concave mirror that can condense a laser beam to the metal held in a pipe to be plated and the metal stuck on the inside surface of said pipe. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a pipe 1 to be plated is evacuated to a prescribed degree of vacuum by an evacuating device 7. A concave mirror 10 is rotated by operating a solenoid 13, to match the focus thereof to the surface of plating metal 16, and a laser beam 5 is projected. The metal 16 is melted and evaporated by this and is vapor deposited on the inside surface of the pipe 1. Thence, while a holding shaft 9 is revolved, it is moved. when a push switch 19 collides aginst a stopper 20, the shaft 9 stops sliding and revolving. Upon completion of the vapor deposition, the solenoid 13 is turned off and the focus of the mirror 10 is matched to near the surface of the vapor deposited metal on the inside surface of the pipe 1 by a spring 12. There, the beam 5 is condensed, and while the metal is melted by this, the shaft 9 is revolved and moved, whereby the stuck layer is made dense and the adhesive power thereof is improved. |
