Divice is for retracing & extending a movable, vertically pivoting access ramp(2) comprising at least two successive main serctions(3,4). At least one intermediate interlinking member(5) is hinged with the main sections of the ramp towards their adjacent ends about a lst hinge pin(6) a 2nd hinge pin(7), resp. Operating means(17) are provided for the rotation of one section of the ramp & the intermediate member about the lst hinge pin. Further operating means(18) are provided for the rotation of the other section of the ramp about the 2nd hinge pin.
