Process for conveying a fluid and hermetically encapsulated pump/motor aggregate for implementation of the process

For conveying the coolant/solvent mixture in absorption heat pumps, use is made of hermetically encapsulated pump/motor aggregates. Because the fluid drawn out of the absorber is in almost boiling state, it is possible that with minor temperature fluctuations vaporisation and thus undesirable cavitation can occur. This is avoided in that a part flow of the fluid to be conveyed is branched off from the suction chamber (12) of the pump (1) and brought into contact with heat-developing parts of the motor, e.g. by being conducted through a screw-shaped conveying groove (14) of the rotor (4) of the motor (2). <IMAGE>
