A corrosion-resistant metal-plastic laminate comprised a metal substrate having a base coating contg. a mist. of a carboxylic acid-modified polyolefin and a base resin, e.g.,phenolic, epoxy, etc., applied in several layers and a topcoating of unmodified polyolefin. Thus a base resin was prepd. by mixing 40 parts phenolic resin and 60 parts epoxy resin. A 10% xylene soln. of ethylene-maleicanhydride graft copolymer (1) was added to the base resin to give a coating compn. conth. 20% 1. The compn. was applied in 3 coats on a surfacetreated steel plate.
