The present invention relates to novel synergistic mixtures composed of the known active substances propoxur (2-isopropoxyphenyl N-methylcarbamate), dichlorvos (O,O-dimethyl O-(2,2-dichlorovinyl) phosphate) and certain propargyl ethyl phosphates (O,O-dipropargyl O-ethyl phosphate and O-propargyl O,O-diethyl phosphate), formulations (compositions) containing this combination of active substances, and the preparation and use of these formulations (compositions) for controlling arthropods.
