<p>PURPOSE:To detect coordinates with high accuracy by adding an operating means to a vibration pen to control the output vibration level of this pen. CONSTITUTION:A vibrator 4 incorporated to a vibration pen 3 is driven by a vibrator driving circuit 2. The driving signal of the vibrator 4 is supplied from an arithmetic/control circuit 1 in the form of a pulse signal of a low level and then amplified up with prescribed gains by the circuit 2 that can be driven at a low impedance. Then the amplified pulse signal is applied to the vibrator 4. An electrical driving signal is converted into a mechanical ultrasonic vibration by the vibrator 4 and transmitted to a vibrating plate 8 via a horn part 5. The vibrating frequency of the vibrator 4 is set at such a level that can produce the plate waves to the acrylic or glass plate 8.</p> |
