<p>So that, during the production of a fibrous and/or granular material from domestic, agricultural, forestry, organic, industrial and/or commercial waste, it is not necessary to separate out waste in the course of the production method as unusable material, the waste which is to be processed is firstly subjected in a disintegrator unit (3) to disintegration treatment and the disintegrated waste is divided up into three fractions after the separating out of any metal components by means of metal separation units (5, 6). The division takes place by means of a fractioning unit (10) a) into a fine grade fraction which does not exceed the desired final size of the waste, b) into a mechanically easily processable coarse-grade fraction, and c) into a coarse-grade fraction which is difficult to process mechanically. The two coarse-grade fractions are subsequently comminuted, separately from one another, to the desired final size of the waste in comminution units (14, 15) which are matched in an optimum manner to the coarse-grade fraction to be processed. Subsequently, all three fractions are dried in a drying unit (18) by heating and extracting the water vapour produced in this process, to a specific maximum residual moisture content, and sterilised. By means of a further fractioning unit (23) and air separators (24, 25, 26) it is fractionated into a heavy fraction (29) which consists predominantly of inorganic granules, into a lightweight fraction (28, 31) which consists predominantly of organic fibres and into a dust-grade fraction (33) which consists predominantly or organic dust particles. <IMAGE></p> |
