PURPOSE:To increase the capability to climb over the obstacle on the road surface by driving the crawler up and down mechanism in accordance with the detection of the road surface detector. CONSTITUTION:When contact point of at least either one of the road surface detectors 61 and 62 of the forward crawler mechanism 2 becomes to ON status, the control device 10 sent out the control signal to the crawler up and down mechanism 8, to direct the crawler mechanism 2 to upper direction. Therefore, the output of the motor 8d is transmitted to the hollow shaft 8a through the gear train e and the mechanism 2 is rotatingly transferred upwards in accordance with the upward rotation of the hollow shaft 8a through the connecting rod 8c, resulting to make the crawler C contact to the ascending slope, and bring the detector 61 and 62 to OFF condition. The crawler mechanism 2 climbes over the slope in this way, followed by the rear crawler mechanism 3 reaches to the ascending slope to make the same action, and the both forward and afterward crawler mechanisms 2 and 3 are placed parallel with uphill slope and become stable. |
