PURPOSE:To lubricate the area between sliding faces of a seat ring and a driven ring so as to prevent thermal deformasion and/or wear by making as many as needed with the maximum width over 20mu and below 500mu in either of said sliding faces. CONSTITUTION:Pinholes 6, 6... are made in a sliding face 5a of a driven ring 5. The pinholes 6, 6... retain fluid A which penetrates between the sliding face 5a of the driven ring 5 and a sliding face 3a of a seat ring 3 to form and hold a fluid membrane for making lubrication between the sliding faces 3a, 5a. Although a plan form of each of the pinholes 6, 6... may be a circular, elliptic or any other shape, a favorable size of the maximum width is over 20mu and below 500mu from the viewpoint of the lubricating capacity. |
