PURPOSE:To enable to assemble bodies of various types of car mixingly flowing on the same line, by installing jigs for a type of car, on one side of the polygon rotating body, so that they are free to be placed and taken out. CONSTITUTION:When the under body member 15 of A-model car is transferred and is set to the welding location jig 13, the welding location jig 12 of the rotational body 11 corresponds to the A-molel car is selected out by an electric signal. The body side member 14 of A-molel is clamped to the jig 12. Then, the slide member 17 is forwarded and the body side member 14 is located to fit with the under side member 15 on the assemble line 16, and the both members are joined by welding together under this condition. After welding, the body side member 14 is removed from welding jigs, and the assemble device 19 is retired. At the same time, the under body member 15 is also removed from the jig 13, and the assembled body of the members 15 and 14 is lifted up and transferred to the next process. |
