A dispersion liquid fuel comprising solid fine-grain carbonaceous particles dispersed in an oil-in-water, micro-emulsion with surfactants stabilizing the emulsion. The oil-in-water emulsion comprises more than 50% by weight water, 5-30% by weight mineral oil, 5-30% by weight of lower alkanols and up to 5% by weight emulsifier. The oil may comprise a mineral oil having a higher viscosity than 5 cSt, preferably higher than 10 cSt, for example firing oil 3. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the dispersion fuel. |
