PURPOSE:To contrive to economize the energy consumption of induced draft fans at light load operation of the equipment by a method wherein communication ducts are provided between a plurality of ducts, which are led from a combustion equipment to the induced draft fans. CONSTITUTION:Two duct systems, which are led from the boiler 1 to the induced draft fans 8 and 9, are connected with the communication ducts 23A and 23B. In light load operation, by fully opening a damper 21 and closing a damper 22 and by fully opening the damper 24A in the duct 23A and closing the damper 24B in the duct 23B, the combustion exhaust gas from the boiler 1, which pases through an air preheater 4 and a denitration reactor 2 or an air preheater 5 and a denitration reactor 3, is combined to the duct system connected to the fan 8 by means of the duct 23a and led toward downstream side. In such a manner as described above, the system is operated under the condition that the induced draft fan 9 stands still, resulting in enabling to economize the driving power by one induced draft fan. |
