PURPOSE:To reduce the length of an inversion chute, by providing a work-piece holding chute between a preceding process connection chute and a succeeding process connection chute so that the holding chute is repeatedly inverted by a rotary actuator. CONSTITUTION:A workpiece sent from a chute 15 at the side of a preceding process machine passes through a chute 17 and slides in a preceding process connection chute 11 so that the workpiece is guided into a workpiece holding chute 13 and halted by a stopper pin 34. A rotary actuator 14 is then driven so that the workpiece holding chute 13 is inverted by 180 deg. by the time of arrival at a succeeding process connection chute 12 while holding the workpiece. The workpiece, which is thus inverted, slides from the holding chute 13 into the connection chute 12 so that the workpiece is conducted into an elevator guide chute 35. The rotary actuator 14 is then driven in the opposite direction to invert the workpiece holding chute 13 back to its original posture. |
