PURPOSE:To obtain a portale measuring device which is capable of measuring a start characteristic easily and exactly, by outputting a pulse signal from an encoder until a friction rotary body which is made to press-contact to be held with the moving part of a press machine is rotated at an equal speed, and displaying it. CONSTITUTION:A clutch is applied in a state that a friction rotary body 3 has been fitted by friction to a moving part of a press machine and has been held, and the rotary body 3 is accelerated gradually, and is rotated at an equal speed finally. Therefore, as for a pulse signal outputted from an encoder 4, time DELTAt between adjacent pulses becomes small gradually as shown in the figure, and becomes zero at the time of equal speed operation. Also, a flip-flop 8 is set when the first pulse signal has been received, and is reset at the time of DELTAt=0. Also, a clock signal of a prescribed cycle is outputted continuously from a crystal oscillator 9 after the time point when an electric power supply switch has been turned on, therefore, an AND circuit 10 outputs only the clock signal extending from the time when the flip-flop 8 has been set to the time when it is reset, to the counter part of a digital indicator 7. On the other hand, the indicator 7 displays a time (t) required for completion of coupling of the clutch, on the display part by a numerical value. |
