A method and equipment for forming a paper web in a paper making machine. The stock 2 is sprayed out on to an endless wire gauze 3 through a nozzle 1 and the paper web is formed in a space 8 between an upper lip 5, 6, 7 and a lower supporting part of the wire gauze 3. De-watering takes place in this space 8 by means of an over-pressure between the over lip 5, 6, 7 and the wire gauze, which over pressure varies along the length of the forming space 8 in the direction of the flow of the stock 2. <IMAGE> |
