<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a durable, exhaust disposal equipment of high efficiency, by scraping the particles adhered to the inside wall of a main body, by corona-discharging between a tubular main body, through which a exhaust flow passes, and an electrode in the center part. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine, entering from the inlet 11 of a tubular main body 1, is discharged from an outlet 13, but by means of corona-discharging between the main body 1 and an electrode 5 in the center part, while the finely divided particles in the exhaust gas are bound to each other to become coarse particles, adhering to the inside wall of a main body 1, which is another electrode on one side. The adhered particles is scraped by a craw plate 45, which is provided to the external periphery of a rotor 4, driven from the outside, collected into a dust box 2 provided in the bottom part of a main body 1, ignited by a spark plug 3, burned by the air from a port 21, entering into an exhaust pipe from a port 22, and discharged to the outside. To enhance dust collecting effect, the air feeding ports 19 are provided to the side wall of a main body 1, and the air is fed into the main body from the venting hole around an electrode, provided on a bulkhead 16.</p> |
