PURPOSE:To improve the tightness of magnetic wedge and prevent magnetic resistance from increasing, by forming a simple half-circular wall for a coil- inserting opening. CONSTITUTION:A coil is inserted into a slot 3 from an opening 4 at a yoke 1 of stator core 2 while a coil is wound around the stator core 2. A magnetic wedge 8 is engaged to the opening 4 to insert the coil after winding the coil around a tooth 5. The magnetic wedge 8 is formed like a mid part-swelled barrel in cross section. The magnetic wedge 8 does not fall off because both ends are narrower than its middle. A wall of the coil-inserting opening 4 is formed in full wall width and semicircular shape. The magnetic wedge 8 fits corretly to the coil-inserting opening 4. |
