<p>It is known to use refractory concrete for repair of blast furnace shafts by injection of the concrete. In this invention, linings for refractory concrete blast furnaces are provided in the form of finished construction components having a volume of more than 0.2 m3, preferably more than 0.4 m3. The cement proportion of the concrete comprises a mixture of: (a) 10 to 30% by weight a mineral alkaline earth substance which is selected from the group consisting of the metallurgical slags containing calcium-mono-aluminate, calcium-di-aluminate or calcium-silico-aluminate; alumina-containing concretes of the type calcium mono-aluminate and calcium di-aluminate; alumina-contain-ing silicate cements; silicates of calcium or barium and the alkaline earth oxides, which are preferably fired at very high temperature; from the group of magnesium oxide, dolomite, calcium oxide and barium oxide either individually or a plurality thereof; (b) 14 to 54% by weight silicon oxide, chromium oxide titanium dioxide, zirconium oxide and aluminium oxide individually or a plurality thereof with a particle size of from 100 .ANG. to 0.1 .mu.m; (c) 14 to 54% by weight of an inert filler material with a particle size of from 1 to 100 .mu.m. The sum of constituents B and C in the mixture amounts to 70 to 90% by weight.</p> |
