PURPOSE:To exactly check an OCR, etc., by operating an OCR device part in accordance with transfer of a remote test instruction to the OCR, etc., and sending out a result of check of its operating state, as a status data, to a high rank device. CONSTITUTION:A remote test instruction is sent out to a device part 1 from a control part 2, and the device part 1 sends out a remote test control signal to a remote test controlling circuit 6. The controlling circuit 6 sends out a signal to a mechanism control part 7, and at first, makes it execute an initial mechanism operation. After that, it executes an OCR element, etc. Subsequently, a result of check of a fundamental mechanism operation is transferred to a status data generating circuit 13 and an error displaying circuit 12. The controlling circuit 6 checks a controlling circuit 9 through a checking circuit 11. When a series of operations and checks are completed, the controlling circuit 6 generates a control signal to the status data generating circuit 13, generates a status data, and sends it out to the control part 2. |
