PURPOSE:To convey a powdery or granular material or the like while stirring it to perform prescribed processing, by providing sectorial stirring blades on parallel shafts in a housing and rotating the shafts in opposite directions. CONSTITUTION:In a processing equipment for a powdery or granular material, adhesive sludge or the like, a heat exchange jacket 4 is provided around the bottom and both sides of a casing 1 in which rotary shafts 6, 6' are provided. Flat sectorial plates 11, 11' are mounted on the shafts 6, 6', which are rotated in different directions. The to-be-processed material such as sludge is thrown into the casing 1 and heated by a heat medium introduced into the jacket 4. The material is conveyed and dried while being stirred. The completely dried material moves over a weir 16 and is discharged through an outlet port 15. Since the blades 11, 11' mounted on the shafts 6, 6' scrape the clinging material from each other and convey it, the material is processed well. |
