PURPOSE:To achieve immediate recognition of addresses of an input and output device control block at the input and output completion processing of a control program, by fetching an input and output device identifying value to the control program at the input and output completion interruption. CONSTITUTION:Through the completion of input and output operation, an input and output processing device IOP 6 makes the input and output completion interruption to a CPU 1, and the input and output completion state and th physical address of an input and output device 8 are transferred to a main memory 2. AT the same time, the IOP 6 transfers the input and output device identifying value corresponding to the input and output device 8 completed with the input and output operation from an input and output controller 7 to the IOP 6 from a register 9, and the IOP 6 transfers the received identifying value to the main memory 2. Next, the CPU 1 switches the execution control to a program 3 by generating the input and output completion interruption. The control program 3 makes input and output completion processing, based on the identifying value transferred to this main memory 2. |
