PURPOSE:To reduce the volume of used combustion fuel by a method wherein a supplied volume of combustion air for the batch type processing incinerator is controlled in response to a required minimum volume of air which is obtained in advance. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 12 measures continuously the oxygen concn. in the primary combustion chamber 1 and the result of measuring operation is transmitted to the control device 14. This value is always compared with the oxygen concn. obtained in advance by the control device 14 in reference to the transmitted measuring value. When the difference in respect to the measured value exceeds the predetermined value, the operative signal for a control motor 13 is generated so as to drive the motor 13 and to adjust a volume of supply of combustion air through air volume adjusting dampers D1 and D2. Thereby, since it is possible to supply a required minimum volume of air in the incinerator, it is possible to reduce substantially the fuel consumption of the burner 9. |
