PURPOSE:To reduce the manhours of assemblying a directional control valve into a blow-off opening of an air-conditioning system by incorporating the directional control valve in an one-unit structure duct including a vent air passage and a heater passage. CONSTITUTION:A space downstream of a heater core 9 in a heater unit 8 is only communicated with two directing openings 13, 14 so that it may be possible to use only one piece of directional control valve 12 for switching the openings 13, 14, thereby the heater unit 8 may become compact. Further, an one-unit structure duct 15 including a vent air passage 17 and a heater passage 18 is easily assembled only by attaching itself to the opening 14 of the heater unit 8 after a directional control valve 16 has been incorporated in the duct 15. Furthermore, the vent air passage 17, blow-off openings 19, 20, the heater passage 18 and a blow-off opening 15 are all designed to be formed within the duct 15 connected to one opening 14 of the heater unit 8, thereby the number and the positions of the heater blow-off openings may be suitably selected without any restriction. |
