PURPOSE:The titled lightweight lubricant composition, prepared by melt mixing a solid lubricant, e.g. layered solid lubricant, with a lubricating material, molding and the resultant mixture, and cooling the molded mixture, fit for portable use, locally usable, economical and nontoxic, and suitable for scissors, electric razors, etc. CONSTITUTION:A lubricant composition prepared by melt mixing about 20- 50pts.wt. at least one of a layered solid lubricant, e.g. graphite, nonlayered inorganic lubricant, e.g. zinc flower, plastic lubricant, e.g. polytetrafluoroethylene, and metallic soap, e.g. sodium stearate, preferably the layered solid lubricant and nonlayered solid lubricant together, with about 50-80pts.wt. lubricating material, e.g. paraffin or polyethylene glycol, molding the resultant mixture, and cooling the molded mixture. |
