PURPOSE:To ensure stable travelling of a vehicle by providing in a steering mechanism a resistance adding device which increases steering resistance during straight advance of the vehicle and decreases the same during quick turning of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Knuckle arms 15 for left and right front wheels 1 are interlocked and connected to each other through a tie rod 16 which is adapted to be operated through a pitman arm 14 by rotating a handle. To the intermediate portion of the tie rod is secured fixedly a tubular body 18 on which fits an elastic tubular body 19. The elastic tubular body 19 is supported in a predetermined position by springs 20, 20 so that the tie rod 16 can be displaced forward and backward, from car body. |
