<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for manual adjustment by detecting a tracking error signal at tape halt state and judging whether value is an increasing value or not so as to use a reference value corrected slightly thereby calculating the brake open time of the tape feed of the next state. CONSTITUTION:A tracking error signal detection circuit 4 detects a tracking error signal from a reproducing signal of a magnetic head 1 and gives the value to a microcomputer 5. The computer 5 reads an error signal at the tape halt state to judge whether or not the value is in the increasing state to correct minutely the reference value used for the calculation of the preceding brake start time. In repeating an intermittent feed slow motion reproduction, the reference value corresponds to the present load and even if the coast load of the motor changes, the tape is stopped at a position where a maximum reproduction output is obtained. Thus, the manual adjustment for the stop position is not required.</p> |
