PURPOSE:To obtain an endless magnetic tape recording medium superior in running stability, by providing a lubricant layer consisting of a rubber-like resin and fine powder of a fluororesin on the back of a base material. CONSTITUTION:A lubricant layer where fine powder of a fluororesin having lubricity such as resin of tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene, or trichlorofluoroethylene is dispersed in a rubber-like resin such as polyurethane resin, polybutadiene, butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer, butadiene-styrene copolymer, or chloroprene, is provided on the opposite face of a base material which has a magnetic layer on one side. |
