PURPOSE:To reduce the electric power consumption, by carrying out the operation for cleaning the surface of a cage filter according to the pressure difference between the inside and the outside of the cage filter with a fan box having the cage filter and a motor capable of changing over the rotational speed thereof. CONSTITUTION:A fan 6 having a motor 5 capable of changing over the speed to a low and a high speeds in two stages and a cage filter 8 are provided in the interior of a fan box 4 at one end of a duct 3 connecting to many cotton waste attracting tools 2. The motor 5 is rotated at a high rotational speed in the yarn breakage and at a low rotational speed in the normal operation. When a sensor 14 senses the differential pressure between the inside and the outside of the cage filte 8 at the desired value or above, a motor 9 is rotated to rotate the cage filter 8 and delivery rollers 10 for cleaning the peripheral surface of the cage filter 8. |
